What browser are you using?

Has anybody ever asked you what browser you are using? Did you give them a blank stare?

Go to this site http://www.whatbrowser.org/en/ and it will show you exactly what web browser you are using.

Check and see what you are running. It might be time to try a different browser or update the one you already use.

Type the Alphabet

I haven't posted a link to a typing game in forever. So, guess what here's a link to a typing game. It's pretty easy all you have to do is type the alphabet into some boxes. When you finish it tells you how fast you typed it. OK, it's silly but I'm running out of typing games. Do you know any good ones?
How fast can you type the alphabet?

Digital TV Answers

There's a been a lot of talk about the switch to Digital TV lately. Confusing as all of the stuff may sound it boils down to this "If you are getting your TV over the air using a antenna then you will need a compatible TV or converter". If you are on cable, sattelite or the like you are not going to be immediately impacted. For more information you can go to DTVAnswers. There is also the TV Converter Box Coupon Program Web Site. I know it's a mouthful but it's a government web site what do you expect. I hope this helps clear up some of the confusion.

Try Silverlight

If you've been to any Microsoft web site lately you might have noticed it asking you to install Silverlight. Taken from the Microsoft Silverlight page this is how they describe the browser plug-in.
Microsoft Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform, and cross-device plug-in for delivering the next generation of .NET based media experiences and rich interactive applications for the Web.
Basically, it is meant to be similar to Adobe Flash. The big difference is that Microsoft .Net programmers can use it to program for web sites. If you'd like to see it in action check out the Hard Rock Cafe Memorabilia page. I used Firefox to view the Silverlight sites that I have visited. It's worked flawlessly so far. Check it out for yourself, let me know what you think.

Feed The Head

This was kind of weird. It's a flash applet that you can play with. It's hard to explain. Just mess around with it and see what you can find. Click Here

Dodge! Dodge What? Dodge This!

Seems pretty simple, until all those little red balls start filling up the screen. Move the Big Blue Ball though the bouncing balls. Knock the Big Blue Box with the Big Blue Ball and gain points. While "DODGE"ing the little red balls. Have fun!

Shorten Long Links

Ever seen a link like this? http://www.amazon.com/High-Mighty-Govt-Mule/dp/B000GPIPW4/sr=8-1/qid=1171425328/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-1988033-1066064?ie=UTF8&s=music It's so long that it will typically not work in most email clients. It's defintely not very pretty. Well there's this "little" web site called TinyURL where you can shorten that HUGE LINK in to a TinyURL like this http://tinyurl.com/3dytxq both links will take you to the same page on Amazon. Just copy the link that you would like to shorten go to TinyURL paste the long link into the little box on the page and click the "Make TinyURL!" button. It will take you to a page that has the new TinyURL.

Best Simpson Site Ever!

I'm a huge Simpsons fan. I stumbled accross this, again, recently. Figured there might possibly be some other Simpsons fans out there reading this. There's lots of stuff to do and see. Check it, but beware it will cause you to lose a few hours of your Saturday. It did mine anyway. The Ultimate Simpsons Fan Site
