Check out this exciting new product from Microsoft called Surface. This goes to show that Microsoft still has some of the smartest people in the world working for them. Surface is one of the most interesting new interfaces to come out in a long time. So what is surface?
Around the end of this year we should begin seeing Surface in hotels, restaurants, retail establishments and public entertainment venues. You can bet they will have Surface at CES 2008 and hopefully we get to play with it. I was already excited about going to CES again this is just icing on the cake. I'll be keeping an eye on this product."Surface is a 30-inch display in a table-like form factor that’s easy for individuals or small groups to interact with in a way that feels familiar, just like in the real world. Surface can simultaneously recognize dozens and dozens of movements such as touch, gestures and actual unique objects that have identification tags similar to bar codes. "
