SHOTGUN!

Anytime we get ready to go anywhere with the kids at least one of them yells SHOTGUN!. I'm sure many of you out there have played this. Microsoft Windows XP VML Flaw

Microsoft has released a patch for a very serious flaw in the Windows XP operating system. It could allow a malicious web page to remotely install programs on your computer. If you computer is not set to automatically update it would be a good idea to go to Microsoft Update and get all of the latest updates. For more information about this vulnerability check out this article on Microsoft's web site. Click Here While your updating Windows check to make sure that your Anit-Virus software is updated as well. Better Safe than Sorry.

Ciphering and something fun

I almost forgot to post about this. Last week, Justin and I were talking about cleaning up your hard drive. Justin had mentioned a Windows Command line tool that cleans all data from the unused space of your hard drive. The name of the utility is CIPHER. Here's a link that will tell you more about how to use it to Overwrite Deleted Data in Windows.

Now for something fun. I found this neat little flash game called RED. It's kind of like Missile Command you have to shoot these balls to keep them from hitting the ground. There's even some meteor looking things. If your looking to waste a few minutes check it out here RED game.
